The recruitment process
can be effected through
any of the following methods:
1. Sapa International Recruitment
Service
submits
pertinent credentials of pre-screened
candidates.
Pre-screening is done by Sapa via
interviews
based on the job
specifications contained
in
the job order or demand letter. Telephone
interviews may be arranged with the Principal.
Cost is for the account of the
latter.
2. Principal sends its
representative to Thailand
to interview and recruit. The interview is
arranged
and facilitated by Sapa in its offices. Candidates
are scheduled
for interview, pre-screened and
pre-selected.
3. Principal participates
in a job congress
arranged by Sapa.
Upon selection of a
candidate worker,
Sapa immediately initiates for documentation
process, which
includes passporting, physical
examination and submission of appropriate
documents to the Ministry of Labor. Trade test
is done according to the skill
of the worker with
a duly authorized trade testing center. For US
bound
healthcare professionals, this would
involve the submission of all pertinent
documents
to the US Principal required for credentialing,
temporary work permit
and H-1 visa application.
From
Sapa’s end, the
processing time
normally takes from 30-40 days.
On behalf of
its Principal, a job congress
is held by
Sapa in a pre-selected venue.
A job
congress is normally held from
3-4 days as the need arises.
